Marching Band

The Lobo Marching Band is a great source of pride for both Little Elm High School and the community.  Over 200 members strong, the Lobo Band performs at all LEHS varsity football games, Little Elm Holidaze Parade, LEHS Homecoming Parade, as well as the lead-off band for the nationally televised Adolphus Children’s Parade. The Lobo Band also competes yearly in local and area competitions and has been awarded numerous “Superior” awards by the University Interscholastic League.

The Lobo Band is directed by Frank Felice and Celestino Sosa. The LEISD Band department team members include Mike O’Glee, Daniel Barber, and Donald Gee.  Other staff members include:  Ray Hale, percussion; Andrew Blezinger, front ensemble; Matthew Bailey, field technician, Jason Baker, field technician; and Goeffrey Sperling, color guard.  The drum majors for this year’s band are Emily Bowlin, Jimmie Housel, and Zachary Sherburn.   As with any successful student organization, the Lobo Band has a tremendous parent support group known as the Lobo Band Boosters. The Lobo Band Booster President for this year is Mrs. Christine Cook. The directors and students of the Lobo Band would like to recognize the tremendous amount of work and support our boosters provide all students in the band program.

For its 2011 contest show, the Lobo Band will be presenting “Mirage.”  The musical selections included will take you on a journey to Persia, where music celebrates life, sand encompasses the landscape, and magical carpets are part of folk legend. We hope everyone will enjoy the show as it reveals itself over the course of the Fall.
